Discover some of Phang Nga Bay’s most beautiful islands on an unforgettable shared speedboat adventure from Koh Yao Yai. This full-day island-hopping tour takes you through spectacular limestone scenery, hidden lagoons, peaceful beaches, and crystal-clear waters.

Your journey begins with a visit to the famous Hong Lagoon, where the speedboat passes through a dramatic natural entrance surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and take in the peaceful atmosphere of this hidden tropical paradise.

Continue to Hong Island, where you can relax on the beautiful beach and explore the island’s lush natural surroundings. Follow the nature trail through the tropical landscape and visit the Hong Island Viewpoint Platform for spectacular panoramic views over the emerald waters and surrounding limestone islands.

Enjoy time for snorkeling in clear tropical waters, where you may discover colorful fish and marine life beneath the surface.

The adventure continues to the smaller and more secluded islands of Koh Pakkbia, Lao Lading, and Koh Nok. Relax on soft sandy beaches, swim in turquoise water, take photos of the dramatic scenery, and enjoy the natural beauty of these stunning islands.

Depending on the tide and sea conditions, we may also make a stop at Laem Haad Beach, one of Koh Yao Yai’s most iconic spots. Itinerary

Departure from your preferred meeting point (Elixir resort, Loh Jark pier, Loh Pared beach, Chonglad pier)

Our cruise lasts maximum 45 minutes and you will get a chance to see Koh Yao Yai and Yao Noi from the sea. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks and fresh fruit throughout the day. Feel free to use the marine toilet and fresh water showers as needed. All 12 seats are located under the bimini roof in the shade, with a sundeck for 6 people. You can securely leave your rental motorbike at the pier.

Hong Island, nature trail, viewpoint

Your first stop is the beautiful **Hong Island**, where you’ll have approximately 1.5 hours to explore and enjoy its natural beauty. Relax on the fine sandy beach, take a refreshing swim, or follow the short nature trail beneath the island’s impressive limestone cliffs, where you can discover the local tropical flora. For a little more adventure, climb the stairs to the **360° viewpoint platform** and be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across Phang Nga Bay. With its stunning scenery, beautiful beach, and opportunities for exploration, Hong Island is the perfect way to begin your day in paradise.

Koh Lao Lading, Pakbia beach, Koh Nok

After exploring Hong Island, continue your adventure to three smaller hidden gems—Koh Lao Lading, Koh Pakbia, and Koh Nok. With their tiny, secluded beaches and spectacular natural surroundings, these islands offer a true escape from the outside world and a taste of tropical paradise. Take time to relax on the beach, swim in the clear water, and simply soak up the stunning surroundings. If you're lucky, you may also spot monkeys around some of these islands—they are often seen along the shoreline and are surprisingly good swimmers! While they can be curious and entertaining to watch, please enjoy them from a respectful distance and avoid feeding them. This helps protect both their health and your safety.

Laem Haad Beach

Depending on the tide conditions, the captain will stop at Laem Haad Beach, where you can enjoy a stroll along the beautiful shoreline. At low tide, the sea reveals a scenic sandy spit, allowing you to walk farther out and experience the beach from a different perspective. As the tides rise and fall throughout the day, the landscape continuously changes, uncovering and covering the sand. Laem Haad Beach also gained international recognition as one of the filming locations for the 2016 movie Mechanic: Resurrection.

Return to Koh Yao Yai

The tour lasts around 6 hours, after which we’ll drop you at the same place in Koh Yao Yai as in the morning. It’s been a full and rewarding day of exploring, swimming, and relaxing on beautiful beaches. This itinerary is a great alternative to the James Bond Island tour, especially if you’re looking for a more laid-back experience focused on beaches and swimming rather than sightseeing alone.

FAQs

How do I get to your office? Is hotel pickup/drop-off included?

Roundtrip transfer is not included in the price. Roundtrip transfer rates of local taxi service: Elixir resort – Stop office - Loh Jark pier 400 THB From all other resorts and areas – Stop office - Loh Jark pier 1,000 THB for 1-5 people, extra person 100 THB Price of the transfer is always roundtrip and is per car. We split the costs, if there are more guests from the same area. Please send us resort name and your room number to arrange the transfer and pick up. We recommend renting a scooter to come to our office (250-300 THB/day). There is very little traffic on Koh Yao Yai and scooter is also great way to explore the island.

Why should I book speedboat tour instead of longtail boat tour?

Speedboat is a much better choice to save your time driving a car to the north pier as we pick up people directly from Elixir resort and 3 places on the way - Loh Jark pier, Loh Pared beach and Chong Lad pier. Furthermore it will give you a chance to admire most of the island from the sea with breathtaking views. It takes maximum 45 minutes one way by speedboat to reach the area. Even less if you start from closer meeting points. Our speedboat offer comfortable cushioned seating, more space, and important conveniences like a marine toilet on board—which makes a big difference on a full-day trip. The boat design also allows for easier access from the sea, which is especially helpful for older guests. Although it's a join-in tour, we keep our groups small (6–12 people), which our guests really appreciate—especially when they see other tours running with 20–40 people on board. In short, our speedboat tour is faster, more comfortable, and better value for money—a great way to experience Koh Hong Island area.

Do you accept credit cards? Can I pay cash in other currencies than THB?

We do not accept credit cards. Instead, we accept direct pre-payments via PayPal, Wise, or Revolut. Thank you for your understanding.

What if the weather is bad? Will the tour be canceled or rescheduled?

We monitor the weather and wind forecast very closely each day to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip. If the forecast is uncertain, we make a final decision in the morning and notify all participants via WhatsApp. In case the tour cannot operate, we’ll offer to reschedule it for another day—you're welcome to join if your schedule allows. If rescheduling isn’t possible, we provide a full refund.
