Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving program is for you.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
Max ratio 2 students per 1 instructor – Small group on the boat
What to expect
1. Introduction & Equipment Briefing
Learn the basics of scuba diving, get familiar with your equipment, and discover how to use it safely.
2. First Dive – Getting Comfortable Underwater
Start with some basic scuba skills, practising underwater while holding onto a rope with a buoy attached to the boat. This helps you get comfortable with breathing and moving underwater. Once you feel comfortable and confident with your new skills, it’s time to explore the open sea! Enjoy the underwater world with your instructor by your side, providing continuous guidance and support throughout the dive.
3. Second Dive – Explore the Underwater World
Once you feel comfortable, enjoy an easy guided dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres, always under the close supervision of your instructor.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health and able to swim.
In this experience, you will learn about diving safety, how to use scuba gear and perform basic scuba diving skills under personal guidance of scuba instructor.
Lastly, it’s important to know that you will not go any deeper than you feel comfortable with. The maximum depth for a Discover Scuba Diving experience is 12 meters (40 feet) if you do the open water dives, but that does not mean you have to go that deep.
