Overview

Koh Khai Islands - Private Longtail Boat

Tiny islands of Koh Khai Nok, Koh Khai Nui and Koh Khai Nai are popular destinations for short day tours from Koh Yao Yai. Visit all three “Chicken” Islands in only 3-hours longtail boat tour. Generally it is a very popular family tour for the kids who can watch schools of tropical fish in very shallow and safe waters.

Koh Khai Islands – private longtail boat starts from Loh Park pier in the south of Koh Yao Yai or from nearby Elixir resort beach during the high tide. The usual first island stop is Koh Khai Nui with snorkeling activity around the boat. Surprisingly it is just the rock with clear waters around.

Captain takes you to the bigger Koh Khai Nok after spending some time swimming in the sea. Over there you can enjoy white-sand beach, relax on sun beds or sip a drink in one of the bamboo beach bars. Local people sell water-sports activities.

Last stop on the way back is on Koh Khai Nai, where you again snorkel or enjoy laid-back vibe. Beautiful landscape of Koh Yao Yai is to be seen all the time. Lastly there are small shops, cozy restaurants and jet ski rentals on the islands.

Summing up these islands remind us well known atolls in Indian Ocean.

Tip: Do not forget to check our Daily Speedboat Tours or how about try diving? No previous experience needed? Let’s dive into it with PADI Discover Scuba Diving program.
